DAC

In Star Atlas, a DAC (Decentralized Autonomous Corporation) is a guild or clan of like-minded individuals who come together to pursue a similar goal. DACs are essentially the Star Atlas Guilds. They create an environment where players can find other like-minded people to connect with, go out on missions, and battle versus other players. Although it's not mandatory, it is wise for players to join a DAC that aligns with their interests and goals within the game. Since Star Atlas is a game between factions, faction choice plays an important role in DACs. Being part of a DAC, will help you survive and thrive in the HRZ (High Risk Zone).

 The guilds, or DACs, are taking their positions. War declarations have been made. Councils have been erected and treaties have been signed. The United Metaverse Organisations signed the UMA, a treaty signed by 17 DACs, focused on combat interactions between the factions and guilds who want to focus on cooperation rather then conflict. While other DACs have aligned to Interstellar Alliance, after all 'Unity is Strength'. These DACs know that working together, instead of spending their resources and Atlas on regional wars, greatly improves the change of building a prosperous future that will generate enormous wealth for everyone in their group.
